When I plug my ZTE Zinger into a Windows 7 laptop ZTE HSUSB device says "No driver found". Everything else reads "Ready to Use." Does it matter if I only want to charge phone or copy photos? Is there a driver available, and what could I do if the computer had that driver?
So, there is no one to try an answer? This doesn't seem like a very difficult question. Why have a place to ask questions if there is no one from T-Mobile to answer them?
Is it working to charge and copy?
Most devices, when connecting as a USB Drive (aka copy files) tend to work without additional drivers. Drivers may be required to do other things (connect ZTE software, for instance, if it exists). I say this because Samsung & HTC have software to allow for backup and restore that a driver is required to allow the connectivity.
If the device works as you are needing it, I'd ignore the driver message.
Thanks for replying. Yes, it does charge, although for some reason the display tends to want to stay lit while it is charging, which slows the charge.
And yes, I was able to copy some photos. So what you are saying makes sense, And it seems simple enough--but for the mystery of the display staying lit (though it dims) while charging.
