John Legere took my suggestion.

People here may have noticed that I've sounded like a broken record on the subject of T-Mobile's needing a "try-it-before-you-buy-it" program. Well, I'm glad to say that John Legere must have been listening and prospective customers can now go to a T-Mobile store and check out an iPhone to try for a few days. The only catch is that there is a $750 hold placed against your credit card until you return it. So, while it may not be perfect, it is a step in the right direction.
