I am evaluating T-Mobile and will only stay with you if I can get my VZ Note 3 to work on your network. I was able to get 4G LTE Data and what not, but not able to send MMS. I believe the APN information on this support site is outdated. I need the following:
Multimedia Message Proxy
Multimedia Message Port
APN Roaming Protocol
Turn APN on/off
Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type
Mobile Virtual Network Operator Value
You need two APNs one is named T-Mobile Data and the other is T-Mobile MMS.
Name T-Mobile Data
APN Type default,supl
APN Protocol IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol IPv4
APN enable/disable APN enabled
Name T-Mobile MMS
APN Type mms
APN Protocol IPv4
These aew right off my Xperia Z1s, hope that helps.
I am noticing some flaws with what you gave me. If I enter exactly what you gave me (both APNs), I have no problems sending MMS. However, I cannot do anything that involves data. I noticed your data APN name is fast.tmobile.com If I change the APN to fast.t-mobile.com, I am able to connect to 4G/LTE no problem, but cannot send MMS. Are your settings exact?
UPDATE. Saw that you edited your post, thank you. Now I am able to send MMS...get on the internet...but cannot send SMS.
I can send SMS and MMS, but I use Hangouts. I don't have experience with the Note 3. You might try combining the APN's into one. You will have to change the IPv6 to IPv4, move the MMSC, and add mms, before default, supl
