Digits app stopped working

magenta3169758

There's an issue after issue with digits app. It was a great idea but bad implementation. I was a beta user via my older galaxy phones but since i switched to s10 i was forced to use the actual app vs native samsung multi line setting. Since then issue started:

    Hard to pick up call

2-3 sec delay when picking up calls

Now, call are dropped - no matter on wifi or wireless network im on

Calls dont go thru and go straight to voice mail...

I used digits as business line and loved it but now it became impossible to use so im thinking getting another phone for work. Anyone have similar issues?

        Hmm.

Does this seem to be happening with all calls? Are you using a T-Mobile branded device?

            Re: Digits app stopped working

For the most part the app was always bad: 2 sec delay, dropped calls, missed calls, etc. But now any call coming thru Digits cannot be taken: I pick up the call, then 2 sec of dead quite, and then call drops. I tried 4G and wifi connection - same result.

            I use T-mobile S10+

I also made a request to "Technical support" team at T-mobile but no one ever contacted me or tried to fix it.

                    Re: Digits app stopped working

So, I chatted about this with T-mo and specialist called me. We troubleshooted it but nothing worked so I was told that they creating a ticket for technical team and nothing happened since. it was back on 8/7/19

I was beta user from almost day 1 when this service was rolled out. It worked great on my old Galaxy devices as it was part of build it SW so multi-line was quite natural. Ever since I got S10+ and didn't find this option I had to use Digits app it was always something wrong with it. Interestingly enough, T-mo start charging for this service which doesn't work properly.

                            Re: Digits app stopped working

Thanks, Chris. I will contact customer service again to get it going.

My point is that I was reading online and thru this forum that a lot of ppl are experiencing similar issues with DIGITS app and most of us are frustrated when native Galaxy multiline setting went away. Originally, I was told by customer service that it will be rolled in later with SW update but its been over 6 months and nothing happened yet.

I would like to voice up my experience so your team can fix it for the whole community. A lot of ppl including me is using digits as 2nd business line but it's unacceptable if it doesn't work properly.

                    Re: Digits app stopped working

Why are you using the App? Is your phone not from T-Mobile? T-mobile phones come with built-in Digits functionality. You just have to go in to your phone's settings, under accounts, then scroll down and tap "Add Account". in the next menu you will scroll down again until you find "Multi-Line Settings". Tap that and sign in with your t-mobile user name and password and then turn on the numbers you want. Wait for it to activate the selected numbers and then you are done. If you don't have a T-mobile phone then you are stuck using the crappy Digits App.

                        Re: Digits app stopped working

Thanks for reply. I have s10+ from tmo. I checked settings and there's no "multi-line" setting. I checked with tmo support and was told that this option is not supported any more. Originally i was told it will be brought in future sw update and now its just "not supported". Therefore im stuck with digits app which doesnt work properly
