It's actually pathetic to be honest. Even the unlocked S10 got night mode!
I was actually ready to upgrade to the Note 10+ but this has turned me off
so I'll wait this out.
Can't believe how ALL the other carriers are beating T-Mobile at this!

Phone Arena just reported yesterday that T-Mobile is releasing the Night Mode Camera to Note 9 users currently. Like seriously T-Mobile?? I'm baffled. How did we just blatantly get bypassed like this?!

Just got the July 1 update on my 10e and the camera night mode is there. You guys doing it right? Photo, no flash?

Just be in Photo mode. Be sure flash is off and Scene Optimizer is on. Night mode will only come on if it's really dark (automatically) . Place hand over lens to test and the little moon should show up.

We are aware of the settings you're talking about but the new dedicated Night mode that we're talking about and the Bright Night scene optimizer that you're talking about are not the same thing.

Scene Optimizer cannot be considered a dedicated night mode comparable to
Google Pixel Cam, where the user has control when to turn it on. In
addition, the AI used for the night mode in Scene Optimizer is sub-par. The
new night mode that everyone is expecting and not yet delivered by TMB is
similar to Google CAM “Night Sight”.
I have ported the Google Pixel Cam app and have done comparisons to the
Scene Opimizer night mode and it is “day and night” difference. Some
reviews on YouTube have much closer comparisons between the new dedicated
Samsung Night mode and Google Night Sight mode.
TMB is behind all the other carriers on this Camera update – disappointed.

Hmm.
I unfortunately don't have a lot to offer in the way of explanation from my seat at the table, but I can go ahead and try to float this question up and see what I hear back!

About the customer service like your bosses do! They brag about how great they are, yet pathetic that we haven't received any updates for the S10 line like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint did 2months ago.. I used to brag about TMobile!! Not anymore with these months behind updates!

August security patch is out now. My S9 on Verizon just got it this morning. Hopefully this means TMobile will be pushing it out to the S10 soon and Include the night mode.

I have tried the suggested remedies without success. When you call Tmobile they tell you to call Samsung. Samsung says to call Google. No one takes responsibility. Apple is looking very appealing to me....I cant believe I said that. Maybe I will go to Sprint as well since both give timely update. I did receive my August 1st update firmware G975U1UEU2BSGL for my Samsung s10+ unlocked version yesterday September 9th, 2019.
When can I expect Bright night mode for my phone. Every other carrier has it. How do I enable it

What is your problem and phone model? My TMB S10+ G975U got the 01 August G975USQU2BSG update around 30 August and that update had the "Night" mode. This mode shows up between "Food" and "Panorama" modes. Your unlocked G975U1 phone should be getting updates directly from Samsung.
