Good morning, magenta9321990!
Do you have a prepaid or postpaid line currently? If postpaid, I would recommend opting out of the eSIM and instead getting a DIGITS line for your Apple Watch (which has a specific plan for your type of watch). Are you wanting two different phone numbers?

I am postpaid.
What the t-mobile rep said on a 611 call is that I can convert one of my other lines to a digits-only line for the watch. I do have an extra line, it used to be our landline and I don't get very many calls on it and I don't use it for any outgoing calls or messages. What I am hoping for is that if anyone calls or messages that number, it will go directly to the watch. I still want to retain the actual phone number, even if it's not used on a phone. I hope that makes sense.

1 of 1 people found this helpfulGotcha! I'm on the same page now ! So in your case, the plan that is compatible with your Apple Watch is called Data with paired DIGITS. With that plan, the same phone number that's on your phone would be the one your Watch would use and not a separate phone number like you're wanting.

Thanks Amanda, I understand that. What I am wanting to know is if someone calls or messages the number that was converted to Data with paired DIGITS, will it ring on the watch.
A rep at 611 said it will, I am needing to verify that is true. I am just wanting to make certain that I do not "lose" the phone number that will be converted. I know that all outgoing calls/messages from the watch will appear the same as my iPhone that is associated with the watch.

1 of 1 people found this helpfulI'm sorry we keep going around and around, magenta9321990! Once the line is converted to Data with Paired DIGITS Apple plan, the old number will be gone.
