No network in the LIRR tunnel going out of Penn Station NYC eastwards

objectivedonkey

I ride the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) every day from Long Island to Penn Station NYC. The tunnel that runs under the east river has 0 reception (no voice, data or text). That section is around 6 minutes of commute but sometimes the train gets stuck there and I have 0 reception for longer.

Ideally I'd like TMobile to install a DAS there so I can get connectivity in the tunnel. I am considering switching to a different carrier because they may have better connectivity in this particular tunnel.

    My questions (please stay on-topic):

    1) Is getting connectivity in this tunnel a priority for TMobile?

    2) When can I expect connectivity in this tunnel?

    Regards.

P.S. You may think that 6 minutes is not a big deal, but to me it is. My job requires me to always be connected to the internet.
