I would think you'd be able to add it back by choosing your plan in the app just like you can only have 10 esim profiles if you accidentally erase one you should be able to follow these instructions below.
To activate an additional cellular plan, you can scan the QR code given by the other carrier, download a carrier app for activation, or enter the information manually. T-Mobile has it's own app, T-Mobile eSIM app.
I understand what you mean and it's possible you'll need to reactive. Have you taken a look at the T-Mobile eSIM app link to see if that works?
