hey T-mobile community!! my husband and I were enrolled in a post-paid no credit check account and we changed to MetroPCS on October, right before our closing date. I am receiving this weird and hostile calls from a “Collecting Company” saying that I have a pending payment with T-mobile, something I did not know about because otherwise I would have paid. Anyway, I called customer service to make sure I was not being scammed and they could not retrieve any information on my account. I do not know what to do. I’ve been reading a lot about the collecting company calls and it seems like a scam. I do not want to owe anyone money so I just want to make this clear.
You should have received something in writing in the mail.
That's pretty weird, but I agree, you should've received something in writing. Have you had the chance to look over your credit report? That's the only other thing I can think of if Customer Care wasn't able to locate anything on your no-credit account.
