Hey there, I'm sorry you're having some trouble with your messenger.  Is your WiFi turned on?  And have you tried other messaging apps?

Re: mms text message hangs up trying to send

              Thanks.

Got rid of Verizon messaging and switched to Google messaging and have not had problems since.

However, I am not sure about one of my phones using text internationally.  That phone is a Samsung Note 5 that was originally a Verizon phone that I switched to T- Mobile.  There is legacy Verizon software that continues to send a warning that I am not using a Verizon SIM card.  Could that software be interfering with text messinging internationally?

Your help and input would be appreciated.

              Thanks again.

lantzpw - That is pretty odd! It does sound like that error is software related but it should not interfere with your ability to send SMS internationally if the device is unlocked and has a T-Mobile SIM card in it. What happens when you try to send an international SMS from that phone?

vqtran9 - I am not sure I understand what is going on. Would you be able to elaborate a bit?

Hi Chris, sorry I wasn't sure how else to reach out to you. Multiple attempts to go through tech support has gotten me no where. We're in the same boat as others where we've been blocked by your cloud Barracuda spam filter. Can you help with this? Thank you!

Re: mms text message hangs up trying to send

Hi Chris. Sorry I may have chosen the wrong thread for this issue but found another thread where my issue was discussed. We are an ISP for schools and extensively use the email to SMS gateways for network monitoring and notifications to our engineers, some of whom have T-Mobile. Several months ago they stopped receiving SMS. I had a chance to dig further and found information pointing to Barracuda spam filter as the culprit. We are ourselves customers and called in to their support and they found that while the messages are leaving our BSF, it's getting rejected upstream in the cloud BSF at ess.baracudanetworks.com. It seems our domain had been blacklisted in error. I couldn't get any help from T-Mobile support who asked me to reach out via social media to the online response team. I started digging around and found some messages where you were able to help so hear I am. Can you help? Thanks!

Re: mms text message hangs up trying to send

That makes more sense. We would need to get a ticket filed with our engineers to see why that domain is being blocked. You are going to want to contact us again and let the specialist you know to check internal document DOC-414999 as it will point them to the direct steps that they need to follow to get this ticket open.

Re: mms text message hangs up trying to send

Hi Chris, I've spent nearly an hour and got the run-around by five phone service reps who kept forwarding me to other techs who had no idea what to do. They were able to bring up DOC-414999 but kept saying I have to talk to my tech support, or they need a T-Mobile account number, or that it wasn't their department. This is to whitelist our domain and is not an issue with one number. I'm not a T-Mobile customer myself, just part of the IT team for my organization. The reps didn't even know what T-Force is. I'm back here because the last rep hung up on me and I'm not sure how to get the help we need. Can you assist? Thank you!!
