For those of you that have it in your area already, how did you know? Was your reception automatically better or did you have to update your phones in order for it to work? Did it work better inside buildings or where did you actually notice a difference? I think my area is supposed to get it early next year so was just curious. Thanks to all who respond.
Really good questions and thanks for posting. To take advantage of that frequency, you'll need to have a compatible phone. Yes, this band does help with indoor coverage as the lower frequency helps with building penetration. With that being said, the signal will still depend on line of site and location of the towers but Band 71 was create for rural coverage improvement.
