That's pretty odd, but I'm sure we can troubleshoot this. Can you try restarting the phone and the headset then reconnecting them to see if that works? You should also try wiping the cache and giving then testing it out again to see if that helps.

Thanks for trying that. Have you tried using the headset with another device or another headset with your phone to see if still happens?

Yes the headset works perfectly with my iPad and my PC. This didn't start
until I got this phone.

Really strange. We don't have any reports showing this is a known issue with the phone. You could try testing another headset with the ThinQ if you have one. If the issue continues, resetting the device would be the next step. Does a wired headset work okay? The phone doesn't have any physical damage does it?

I've done a hard reset. It's what the last tech guy recommended. The phone
is like a month old and in absolutely perfect condition. Wired headsets
work fine.

Wow, that's only a short amount of time to have a phone. If the ThinQ works with another headset, I'd say there could be a compatibility issue. Especially if you're within close proximity of the phone. Have you put the phone in Safe Mode to see if the phone stays connected? We may need to look at replacing the phone if it's still problematic.

Yes I tried safe mode. I just did another hard reset tonight and it's still doing it.

Yes, I've had the G7 a week today and my bluetooth is doing the same thing. Is there a fix for it?

I don't think there is a fix. I've done a hard reset and everything. Same problem. We probably have to wait for an LG update or something. I tried to get a replacement phone but they wanted me to go to LG support first even though there is nothing else I can do. I have done a hard reset, safe mode, unpaired and re paired, reset the headphones, checked for firmware updates on the headphones, there is nothing else to try.

I've been having the exact same issue. The only thing I can add is that the bluetooth isn't disconnecting, it's just randomly changing the "audio path" from the headset to the speakers. I can pull down the dropdown menu and select my headphones again and it'll switch back immediately. The problem is EXTREMELY disconcerting for me though because I like to use my headphones to listen to things on my phone at work (which I'm allowed to do), but the last thing I want is my music or podcast blaring through the office randomly. I will also add that this happens with multiple sets of headphones and my car's bluetooth adapter. It's a problem...

Yep that is exactly the issue. It's super irritating. Hopefully TMobile and\or LG knows about it and is working on it. I hate when they release updates and then don't tell you what it fixes.

This same exact thing is happening with my LG G7 ThinQ. It randomly disconnects from any bluetooth device and starts playing audio through the phone speaker while the phone says it is still connected to BT.
Anyone know anything?

I also have the LG G7 and the BeatsX. Both bought from tmobile and have the same issue. My wife has the same phone but has jlab Bluetooth headphones and does not have the same issue. It seams to only disconnect the media audio while the call audio stays connected. I've tried disconnecting the Bluetooth and reconnecting, but it will not reconnect until I restart the headphones. I have noticed it only happens while using the YouTube app. Turning off the headphones and turning them back on is the only way I have found to fix it. It does seem to be happening more often. It has happened about every third video and always when starting a new video.
