Because this LTE tablet can not receive SMS or make phone calls I would like to use the app to check data usage and make refills. When I try this using the app I get the following message: "Sorry, your account information is not currently available, please again later. Dial #225# For your current balance.....". This makes a week with the same message so clearly not useful error message. When I try to add this number to my T-Mobile account by putting the SIM in another phone so as to be able to receive the SMS confirmation code, the code I enter is never accepted with a message about the code not being valid. I've been told that you cannot have a prepaid account associated with a My T-Mobile account ? So is the only way to refill by calling prepaid number ( seems stupid with a tablet ) ?
What a joke. Can not log in because T-Mobile sends a text with a pass code........a text the can not be received by a table. Not text - no account - no log in..........and so on
