        Physically take the phone away.

          Hey there!

Thanks to technology, even if data is disabled, you're still able to access WiFi. Depending on your plan, you may be able to Contact Us to have the data plan temporarily removed. Otherwise, snn555's suggestion is likely the only way to completely prevent your son from getting online. One other thing I wanted to mention is that we do have a newer feature called FamilyMode. You can read more about it here: T-Mobile FamilyMode | Download App | See Features, Deals & More .

i would suggest to get him an Alcatel Go phone from Tmobile.... your son would still be able to go on the internet.... but believe me.... it’s not a wonderful experience.  But he would be able to make and receive phone calls.... texting on the phone (in my opinion is a hassle) because im familiar with the touch screen keyboards as opposed to using a keypad.

and the flip phones cost only around $75 dollars (brand new) as opposed to a $600 Dollar phone.

just an alternative to physically takng his phone away.
