That's a great question! On paper, and looking at the specs it looks like you should be fine! Do you know if the phone is unlocked, or is it locked to a carrier?

Yes, unlocked and dual SIM. Was getting close to buying the Moto Z3 Play but read several reviews which said the OnePlus was a much better phone for not much more money. If I could have talked my wife into a bigger phone, I probably would have done the 2-for-1 LG G7 T-mobile deal, but she's pretty happy with her Nexus 5X.
The OnePlus in the limited red color was the clincher.

I’m guessing you have already tried both sim ports?

1 of 1 people found this helpfulHey there, is that a dual sim phone? Everything should work fine, but I've read on the forum that some folks have had to fiddle with the sim in different slots to get the data to work properly. Do let us know how it goes!

Getting it today. Waiting for the knock on my door...
Currently backing up the Nexus 6P. Using "SMS Backup & Restore" for SMS & phone calls and "Mybackup Pro" for apps and data. Neither one is perfect, but have worked okay in the past. Google's regular backup works pretty well so hopefully I won't have to rely on the manual backups.

Well, wouldn't you know it, I am in the process of setting up my new OnePlus 6 and a Google News notification pops up that T-Mobile will be offering the OnePlus 6T! Grrr.
So far, setup is going smoothly. I simply swapped the SIM card from my Nexus 6P and it seems to work. I went into Settings and was able to enable VOLte and WiFi calling. There is even a "VOLte" notification on the top of the screen. When I called my wife, I got an "HD" icon. I also tried a WiFi call and that worked although I've never gotten WiFi calling to work well at home. I know it's probably a router issue but I have given up at this point.
I'm liking the phone so far. It's speedy and looks good.
