My bill hasnt been paid as i've been living outside the US for a while. But i still need the number as some of my online accounts are linked to it via 2-factor authentication. It seems that the number hasnt been able to received any text messages. Do I need to reactivate the number? If yes, do i have to pay the bill in full (about $140) or how do i pay the 20$ reactivation fee?
Hey there, when you say you've been out of the US for "a while," how long do you mean? When a line is first suspended, there is a period of time where incoming calls and texts can still be received, but it doesn't last forever. If your $140 bill is greater than 30 days past due, you will have to pay the full amount in order to restore service.
