Bait and Switch

mayanman

Store 132D assured me that my 2 Galaxy S9's from Verizon would be reimbursed after I switched.  Now I am told by the T-mobile team that the store was wrong.

What a great bait and switch tactic!

I will be switching back to Verizon immediately, less than 24 hours, T-Mobile get your stores inline!

        Hey, mayanman!

Yikes, that's by far not the first impression we want to make. Did you trade-in (or were you planning on) your S9's? You should still qualify for our Carrier Freedom, but we'll only reimburse up to $650. You can read all about that here: Carrier Freedom™ Or were you planning on using them on our network and taking advantage of #GetOutoftheRed? I'd love to help sort this out but need just a little more info.

i'm having a similar problem right now we just realized we are paying equipment fees for 2 phones we purchased in full. Our 2 note 8's were purchased during your BOGO campaign on Oct 13, 2017 and we paid $930 each for them in full. Then got a visa gift card in the mail. But for some reason your system thinks we didn't pay for them and is charging us monthly for the full amount! what kind of bs is that?? I hope I don't need to get my attorney involved.

Yep, screw this company. They just lost me as a customer as well after acknowledging and admitting they have been failing to provide the service they promise and advertise, and refusing to refund even a remotely significant portion of the money I paid them to provide be with nothing.

            DONE.

Do you know the reason there wouldn't be a reimbursement in so long as you qualified for the program? Amanda linked to both possible programs you may have qualified for, were all requirements fulfilled and met?

                    Re: Bait and Switch

Supposedly Galaxy S-9 are not included in either program for reimbursement. Only S-8 and S-7

Gotcha, mayanman! That explains the upset. You're 110% right - this should've been brought to your attention at the time of activation and I'm truly sorry it wasn't. This is something we will pass along.

Hey, defeedme! That's something that an account specialist needs to get to the bottom of for you especially if a device was paid in full. You can get in touch with them by dialing 611 or working with T-Force over Facebook / Twitter.

thanks tmo_amanda i figured it out, i think tmobile would not allow the bogo deal without a payment plan? Is that correct ?  the problem is we never do payment plans for anything in life, so this was a rare instance we had no choice..
