Is anyone having the same problems I'm experiencing since updating my Galaxy S7 to Oreo 8.0.0 the other day?
- Battery life is significantly shorter
- Notification badges on app icons don't work consistently - sometimes the appear, sometimes they don't, and the count is not always accurate
- The UI app has crashed a few times in the past few days since the update was applied
- The entire phone seems to have a somewhat slower response.
Did T-mobile even do validation testing of this release before pushing it out to unsuspecting customers?
Yes, that's quite normal after applying a huge update like this. It might take some time for the apps to optimize for the new OS. You can do a cache partition wipe which should solve the issue. If you see this for long, a factory reset is suggested. These are downfalls of a new OS.
