Why is "Simply Prepaid" plan not able to utilize call protection services?


    I attempted to setup call protection on my phone (i.e., SCAM ID, SCAM BLOCK) using the setup directions on the t-mobile website: Call Protection | Automatic Scam Protection for Your Phone | T-Mobile  , but when I initiate the service i get an automated reply back stating that my plan is not eligible (I have simply prepaid).   What is the logic in that?  Why don't all plans have access to this service.   I am so tired of spam calls :-(   if I can't get this resolved I am switching to GoogleFi phone.
