Do you live near a corporate store? When I first used T-Mobile service I had an S5 unlocked they took care of the settings. When I purchased a new T-Mobile branded phone the tech made sure I was up and running before I left the store. If none of this works try 611 (Customer Care), on another phone, and select Troubleshooting.It may be possible for someone to help you with those settings.
Thank you both for your help. Unfortunately, after taking the device to the store and working with tech support, we determined that the device is faulty.
I switched SIMs with my T-Mobile phone and the problem was the phone, not the SIM.
Again, thank you for your help. I need to contact the seller and resolve the issue with them.
