First thing to check is to make sure that there isn't a paired bluetooth headset turned on somewhere near the phone. I do this sometimes and it can be really frustrating. Or just be sure to turn bluetooth off. Next you can check using a headset or bluetooth to see if it's actually an issue with the phone's speaker.
Welcome to our Support Community! drnewcomb2 made a great point about a headset or bluetooth being the issue. I'd try disabling bluetooth to see if that works. Did that help out? If not, try putting the call on speakerphone. Are you able to hear others while the call is on speakerphone?
