I'm assuming you're using these APN settings?
The two possible answers are:
1) You don't have the APN entered correctly
2) Your device doesn't have the bands to connect for T-Mobile
The fact you can make calls suggests you should get at least 2G internet on the device (which is about the same level of "useless"). But, my research on gsmarena suggests it has the appropriate bands to use it. So, it's gotta be #1.
Yes those are the APN settings i am using. I double checked to make sure i typed them correctly and i did. Im not sure what the problem is. But i appreciate the help. Thank you

smplyunprdctble has some good suggestions here. Another thing it could be is that your line for some reason just does not have an internet feature attached to it. Please contact us when you have a moment so we can do an audit on your account to ensure everything is set up correctly.
