Oh gosh, don052! It's a bummer to read that the update affected your audio. Let's see if we can get this fixed. If you put calls on speakerphone, do you still get static or do the calls cut out? Does location seem to matter or is this happening every where (outside of a 10 mile radius)?
Thanks for keeping up on this issue...
I tried several things in this thread, but FINALLY I JUST DID A FACTORY RESET of the LG V30+ Phone... LG-H932
That seems to be working right now...
I guess I'm back to a happy LG user again...
It did seem like I got two updates over 48 hours time...
kernel ver 4.4.78
Build number: OPR1.170623.026
SOFtware version H93220j
I'll let you know it other BT headsets give a problem...
Now to get my text messages back...
Yay! I'm happy to read that a master reset worked. Are you trying to recover your texts that were on your phone prior to the master reset? If so, did you have them backed up anywhere?
I use sms backup to backup and restore text messages – unless you know of a better way?
ALSO, I just found out when taking pictures on this newly updated phone pictures can’t be seen on my phone. So when I go to the gallery it shows placeholder with a triangle exclamation mark…
Happens when I change from 16mp to a smaller size to save space I selected one of the other sizes and have had problems…
How to fix this?
speakerphone works just fine, just when connected to bluetooth .. .when connected to my car, and it can happen anywhere I drive
So I don't know how many days it's been since orig. complaint. But the skipping while on BT call is BACK!
It's been about 3 days and now the problem is back. The call goes in and out while on BT headset.
I've got a Parriott B350-XT that works flawlessly on all phones and even this one until the update to 8.0 Oreo.
Someone else has complained about this going back out again after a few days so Now it's me it's happening to...
This is very depressing...
Next step Reset device and then restore (NOT FROM A BACKUP) BUT from Scratch. That worked for someone else...
Awwwww man I'm so bummed to read your updates, don052. For the SMS backup, that's the one I'd personally recommend as I've used it in the past. If the master reset option doesn't work this go around, I'd recommend calling into Tech Support or working with T-Force via Facebook/Twitter to see what your device replacement options are.
I'm getting the same issue with the call quality when I'm on my LG ThinQ G7 with bluetooth connected to my car. Had no issues with HTC 10 and Samsung Galaxy S8+, just with the LG G7, the call quality gets fuzzy, and it's hard to hear. What should I do?
