Email address association issue

    After 12 years of using a Simply Prepaid plan, I signed up for T-Mobile One today. The problem is that when I created a new T-Mobile ID, and entered my current email address, the page's form told me the email address was already associated with IAM account..? I had to use an old abandoned email account I used years ago to create the new T-Mobile ID.  How do I solve this issue?
