Dear Community members,
I got approved by the activation team to have my postpaid T-Mobile ONE Plus International (one line). The operator told me that my credit check would allow me to "have 12 lines".
Are there triggers when T-Mobile starts hard inquiriies for my credit again without that I know it?
I was reluctant to buy a movie on Google Play Movies via T-Mobile billing, but I tried once and it worked flawlessly, I just do not want to have inquiries again that I do not know of.
In my understanding, buying a new phone on EIP triggers a new inquiry, but not using third party billing. Is that correct?
I am still new in the US credit score system (12 months of credit history so far).
This is a really good question and we appreciate you posting it here. T-Mobile wouldn't credit check you if you're making a purchase through a third party billing system. Personally, I can't think of a need for a credit check for purchases made on places like Google play.
