Note 8 IMS Service has stopped error over and over error

    Hi all, I updated about 60 apps last night, I wasn't on the latest T-Mobile security update (May 1st), but as soon as I used my phone this morning after the app updates I kept getting this "IMS Service has stopped" error over and over - I then updated to the latest T-mobile security version and same issue.

    I uninstalled just about every instant message app I could think of.

    Booted into safe mode, still had issue.

    Wiped cache, still had issue.

    Any ideas?

    This is slowing down the phone essentially making it unusable.
