Many easy ways. Use your USB cable and connect it to your PC. Dear and drop. Might need to enable data transfer. You can upload it to an online storage, gdrive, Dropbox, ect then download it.
How I do it, I use iTunes for playlists and editing. I bought isyncer to act as the transfer. Syncs seamless, plus it keeps ratings, playlists and any meta data updated. My music player is a rocket player.
Ok its easy but. When I connect to the PC nothing happens. How do I get the PC and LG to engage in whatever is needed to activate the transfer. To be specific I have an album in my music library on the PC that I want to transfer to the albums on the LG. I don't know how I did it to begin with, maybe the albums were automatically transferred when I changed phones. But just connecting is not enough info for me to accomplish the task.
Hmm. When you plug your USB into the device and computer, do you get a popup on the computer requesting you to install drivers or say it's adding software? Do you get any sort of popup on the device that says enable data transfer?
Make sure in the settings that you have the phone set to MTP
- If your screen is locked, unlock your screen.
- Connect your computer to your device using a USB cable.
- If you’re prompted to select a USB connection option on your device, select Media device (MTP).
- Locate music files on your computer and drag them into your device's Music folder.
Just checking in here to see how things are going. Were you able to get your phone to be seen by your computer?
Have you been able to move your files? Please let us know if this was resolved. Thanks!
