Have you had a chance to speak with LG on this issue? Have you tried booting the device in safe mode?
I would recommend backing up the device before doing further tests. I would also suggest that you try another wifi connection of some kind and that you try restarting your router just to eliminate it as a possible cause of the issue. When you restart the router, unplug the power for about 40 secs before rebooting it. If your still having issues proceed to try safe mode on the device and if still problems try a factory reset.
