30$ of tax on a 4 line plan??

frankiexenon

I started a 4 plan (unlimited text/talk and 2.5gb data) for 100$ monthly. Also purchased a Galaxy s5 which is extra 20$. But I was wondering why they charged nearly 30% tax. They even told me its only a 20% taxed maximum. On a website that shows the wireless phone bills, PA residents are being taxed 22%. Does anyone know why there's a 30% tax?

Maybe the phone tax is included in the months payment.

You’ll have to take a look at the bill and compare what the cost of service is minus the taxes and do your percentage that way. You pay the phone purchase price tax at the time of getting the phone. It’s been a while since I looked at a tax line because all the new ONE plans have tax included. You also have tax per line on the account because I believe it is broken down into plan and per line and the account as a whole.

You can log into my T-Mobile.com and look at your past bill and there will be a breakdown of what you pay per line and how much you pay in taxes plus any other fees or services like insurance or add one.
