I'm looking for something like the Kyocera line of products, but doesn't have to be Kyocera specifically, that can be used out in the rain or snow, and will handle cold temps. I am using it as a backup, just in case it takes a month again to get my main phone replaced (rolling my eyes at that whole debacle), but it will be mounted in my off road motorcycle and used as a GPS unit. My bike goes through creeks, and lots of mud, along with drastic temperature changes, all in one trip, so it needs to be durable, but not super expensive (Under $200 is what I'm looking for).
Anybody know of a phone that will work on the TMobile network and handle the abuse?
Nothing under the $800+ S8 Active.
Or that Kyocera DuraForce Pro for $425.
Postpaid customers can get a phone on installments.
Prepaid can buy full price.
Any phone can be put into a handlebar mounted clear front case to keep out rain snow mud. I don’t know that any phone is really more durable against temperature than another.
