Replacement phone with prepaid account?

    I have a Samsung Galaxy J7, bought in December 2016.  It was acting up and not working right.  I was told a million different things every time I tried to go to a store or call Customer Service.  Then eventually got to prepaid department, and they emailed me a postage label and said to mail the phone in for replacement under warranty.  I did that but have no phone to use meanwhile.  Anyone know how long it will usually take to receive the replacement?  I tracked the phone I mailed and it arrived at the warehouse this week.  Everything I've  read on here as well as tmobile FAQ talks about receiving replacement phone FIRST, then mailing defective phone.
