T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 BOGO Rebate Denied


    On 10/17/2017 I quickly took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free Samsung Note 8 promotion. I called in and talked to the agent, asking questions about the promotion and making sure multiple times that I was all set after participating in the promotion. I got my 2 devices a week later. However, my recent chat with T-Mobile claims that I'm not eligible for the rebate because the new line was opened on 10/18/2017. The agent I was talking to on 10/17/2017 has given me incorrect information then, saying that I was all set when I was in fact not. Is there anything that can be done about this? I remember the agent specifically telling me that I made the promotion just in time.


    I'm pretty sure all T-Mobile customer calls are recorded, and thus my call on 10/17/2017 should be able to be pulled up and checked as evidence since I asked multiple times for confirmation that I was eligible for the promotion and rebate.
