4G/LTE only works for a short while


    Samsung Galaxy S7

    4G/LTE signal was excellent inside my home for a long time (many months).

    About 2 weeks ago, the 4G/LTE indicator would just flash the up-arrow forever: I think it is trying to connect, but I don't get an internet connection, outbound text messages don't get sent, etc.

    I have to use my home WiFi when that happens.


    I called 611.

    T-Mobile Support said turn off, then turn on the phone (not just Restart).

    That seems to enable 4G/LTE to work, but only for a short while.


    Do I need new APN settings?

    Did the last software update mess up my phone?
