Seeing duplicate text messages


    On one of my Tmo phones, I have Digits installed that includes lines from a different Tmo account.  Over the last few weeks, all of my text messages to a particular line are coming in twice.  The primary phone for that line does not see duplicates.


    Interestingly enough, I added Digits to a VZ phone and included that line and that phone does NOT see the duplicate texts.


    I've logged out and logged back in with no luck.

        Ouch, fm33, this sounds like a lot of upkeep! Staying on top of duplicate messages can be a heft workload if the line is even fairly active.
        Since this issue is impacting one specific line, we'd want to have you Contact Us so that we can take a closer look at that line's set-up and internal provisioning. If nothing seems obviously amiss, then we'd want to get a trouble ticket filed.
