It depends on if you paid all five of those phones off because even with great credit there is still a limit to how much you can be interest-free financed.
I've been on jump on demand and upgrade every year... why did i have to pay 140.00 down this year for upgrade to s8+? Supposed to be 3 free upgrades per year. I have 5 phones so had to pay a whopping 720.00 to upgrade from s7 edge to s8+. Never fair, never do what promised.
3 free upgrades isn't what it does. 0 down were on selected devices and that depended on costs of the device. They are not going to give you 0 down(not even with a CS of 800+) iPhone 7 Plus 256GB model. My guess you paid the $80 down(IIRC) and tax on full retail price of the phone.

Tax is always paid first in full. That isn't a down payment.
Wasn't tax. Tax is only taken out of EIP, not jump on demand... I pay taxes
each month on the 30.00 payment ea... He called it a down payment so that
the payments would be 30.00/mo plus tax instead of 35.00/mo which was what
I should have done through Samsung Store, as they didn't require 140.00
down. I did pay tax on the down payment, but only that, as each month there
is two dollars and change on each 30.00 payment. Jump on demand is supposed
to be FREE UPGRADES and now when I upgrade to the note 8 I not only spent 5
payments on the s8s but also 140.00 ea... defeats whole purpose of jump on
demand. I had plenty of credit available... wasn't that... I have 12/18
The only time there is supposed to be no money down is when it is offered. For example 32GB iPhone, but not the 128GB iPhone. Also depends where you order it from for example California requires tax to be paid in full at the start of any lease and not over time last I remember.
