I don't know. It's an area where USCC holds the 700A license but seems ill-disposed toward deploying it. T-Mobile would have to build on all mid-band licenses.

Hey, ramey2020!
Data limits should be a thing of the past but when roaming with service partners those limits still exist. I checked out the Charleston/Huntington, WV area and I do not see any dates for completion. Which coverage map did you see upgrade completion by the end of the year?

ramey2020, I just checked the latest coverage updates and see the modernization completion has an approximate date - 11/30!! One thing I want to note is that this is an approximate date and could be pushed back or moved up.
Yes, yashanish, AT&T is our current roaming partner in the area. You can find more info regarding domestic data roaming here.

tmo_amanda, when can we expect full coverage of T-mobile with high-speed data in Charleston, WV? I've heard T-mobile bought Sprint, will be there any immediate chance of network growth?
Will i be charged for "Breaking Contract" if I don't have signals in my area and want to move to better Network/Carrier?Thanks!

I. T-Mobile did not "buy" Sprint. The parties were in negotiation but could not reach an agreement.
2. T-Mobile does not have long-term service contracts, so there is no contract to break. If you are buying/leasing your phone under a payment plan, there may be an issue with early termination of that plan. It's possible that you could be covered by T-Mobile's Lifetime Coverage Guarantee.
You can pay off your device, get it unlocked and port over to AT&T or an MVNO like Cricket.

Amanda -- See links below for TMO's updates from last year for where coverage was projected to be by the end of 2017. Clearly the projection was for WV to be filling in with magenta and Chas / Hunt areas to be LTE. Like I said, tired for limited data roaming with AT&T, but may have to go switch to At&T if WV is not coming along since I spend so much time there.

Thank you for those links, ramey2020! I'm not exactly sure how I missed the projected coverage map. Yes, the WV area will be lit up with speedy LTE but I don't have a smaller date range other than by the end of the year. Data roaming isn't something we want you to rely on and I know you would prefer a stronger signal and faster data.

Hey Amanda -- We've seen some upgrades for TMO in the Charleston area. How about the suburbs along Rt. 64 west towards Huntington. The TMO map shows coverage in those areas (such as Teays Valley) but still no TMO service. When I'm there now, my phone still roams to ATT. Any updates?
