Data pass travel limitations inside US

I'm considering getting a T-mobile SIM for a couple of one-month visits to the US, mainly for light data use. I see the $3/month pay-as-you-go plan for calls and txts and also the one-day or one-week data passes - seems fine. I'm just checking some wording I found in the data pass terms and conditions - when they say "No US Roaming" for the data pass, that just means I have to stick to T-Mobile's service to use the data, right?

I'll be on a road trip both times, so I'd hate to set it up and then find out that that comment really means "good in Houston where you bought the SIM, but no good in Orlando (etc) even though there are T-Mobile towers in Orlando!"
