No capability to recognize custom phone number types from Phone/Google Contacts?

Here's something I've noticed.  I have several contacts on my phone (Google contacts) where I use a custom phone number type, rather than the standard options.  For example "Work Cell" & "Home Cell" instead of listing the default "Mobile" for both.  The DIGITS app doesn't seem to handle this at all.  It just lists "Custom" for these non-default phone types, which doesn't help me know which number I want to message or call.

I have to select "Edit contact" fromt he DIGITS app, which opens my stock Contacts app so I can see which number is which.  Then I cancel out of everything back to the DIGITS app to use the number I want.  Anyone else?
