I don't know if you have resolved this issue, but I was in exactly the same boat. We made the switch yesterday and noticed that the visual voicemail feature was not available on our iPhones.
I contacted their Customer Service and it was actually a quick, easy fix on their end. Turns out, the visual voicemail feature requires activation on their end (it is absolutely free though). It took about 20 minutes and a restart for the change to take effect on my phone.
