magentawizard Usually you can call DIGITS Tech Support / 611 and request them for a MSISDN / number change for the virtual line as you would do for a primary line number change. I do not believe there is a way for the user to select their favorite DIGITS number. And its going to cost $15 per change per line.
Now there is an easy way where you can save some money.
- Get a Google Voice number by attaching it with your Google / Gmail ID in the favorite area code of yours.
- Unlock your Google Voice number via the link https://www.google.com/voice/b/0/unlock?pli=1 . It costs $3 that's a savings of $12 or 80% savings.
- Port the Google Voice number to your DIGITS line by calling 1-877-789-3106
Let me know if it works. I believe for any number chage etc you can call T-MObile but eventually they will call the PAH for authorization unless you are designated as an authorized user by PAH.
This sounds great, since we already have 1-2 decent Google Voice numbers I might just port these in. Otherwise I will have the user call CS and OK it. Thanks much, Google voice seems like the Best option. I assume this can be to to an existing virtual digits talk and text and will just wipe the existing virtual number as they were already assigned by the system, right.
Set this transfer in motion, supposedly it should take up to 24h. Let's see if it works...
