In order to get LTE on the T-Mobile network, your device must support these network bands/frequencies.
Frequencies: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz). It looks like your phone supports the 1900MHz so in theory, it should work. Can you try plugging in your device info here and letting me know if it says that your phone is compatible?
Hi there! We just wanted to touch base here and make sure you'd had a chance to take a look at Chris's reply above. Please let us know if that helped, or if you have any additional questions. Thanks!
Is I almost never log on to band 2 in all the cities I manage to hit the course of the year across the country. Almost all his son band 4 - once in a while on band 12.
I have had no LTE since late August, even though my Moto G 3rd Gen phone is displayed as supported on the webpage provided above (BYOD & Sim Cards | Get a Sim Card For Your Unlocked Phone | T-Mobile ). When I contacted customer service they advise me to get a new phone because they "upgraded" their towers, which is unfair since I've been using this phone with no problem until now and the customer shouldn't have to pay for an "upgrade" that was done without their knowledge effectively taking the phone off the network O.o
