MMS Group Text Problems

    I am unable to receive MMS group texts on my Samsung J7 phone.  The phone is only a few weeks old.  The settings are identical to another family member's phone, including the APN settings.  We switched SIM cards and then their phone couldn't receive MMS and mine could.  I ordered a new SIM card thinking that would solve the problem.  I installed the new SIM card and did not transfer anything from the old one.  I had saved my contacts to my device instead.  Even with the new SIM card my phone will not receive MMS text.  I have to believe it's something with the phone number itself, since everyone else on my plan can receive MMS and my phone receives MMS with someone else's SIM card in it.  TMobile seems to be at a loss as to how to help.
