Alcatel One Touch Pixi 7 and the My TMobile App update


    I have an Alcatel One Touch Pixi 7 that I got via a T-Mobile promotion about a year and a half ago. For the past month it notifies me every 24 hours than an update is available to the My TMobile App. A loop occurs in trying to update the app. The only options are to Uninstall or Open. I uninstall and reinstall it everyday. I have troubleshot every possible thing. Gone to the T-Mobile store where they send me out in less than 5 minutes and look at me like an insane person. Customer service finally tells me that the device software is outdated (Lollipop) and the only way to get it to stop is to buy another tablet with Marshmallow or Nougat. However, TMobiles new promotion is for a Pixi 7 or Pop 7 with the same outdated software. How is it that they will promote this same device when others will end up with the same aggravating, frustrating problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
