A lifetime ago when I actually had a job in software development, one of the most critical pieces in the testing of new programs or features was a test plan. We knew what we were testing for, could regression test to make sure that the 'fix' didn't break other existing functionality, and when handed over to others for review could potentially show holes in methodology. Now I realize that the majority of the beta users have a real job, but if there is a functional test plan for those of use with more time can it be shared? It seems that it would also help the T-Mobile team if they had consistent documentation of what combinations of hardware/software was tested.
Just a thought.
We appreciate the feedback! We don't have any official plans created for DIGITS at the moment. Most of the tracking we are doing is in a separate database.
