If it is less than a year old then it is a warranty issue not an insurance issue.
60% is way to high of a battery life to be shutting down on you. If you have any 3rd party battery saving apps, you could try to uninstall those first and see if that helps. The last resort would be to master reset the phone and test it out before putting your personal data back on it. If it's still misbehaving, then you should be able to use the advice given above and replace the phone under warranty.
