When you port your number to a new carrier your account with T-Mobile is closed. Any outstanding balance is due at that point. If you chose a new number, you need to contact T-Mobile in-store or on the phone to cancel your T-Mobile account.
Yes please delete my account and the phone with it. I have a new phone and
a semi-new phone provider. Still mobile but through Wal-Mart. My old phone
is a prepaid phone and has to make my own account on it, since I will no
longer being using my Microsoft Lumia phone I need to have it deleted since
I'm on another plan. And thank you for the concern.

We can't do that in the Support Community. We are customers, not reps. There really isn't anything to "delete." You change carriers and that's it. No more account.
