As with most phones these days, the basic "G4 Plus" does not tell the story. I assume that your phone is the Indian version of that phone, model XT1644. According to GSMarena.com this model is quad-band GSM, has UMTS bands 1, 2, 4, 5 & 8 (good in the USA) and LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 8 & 40 (not so good in USA). T-Mobile uses LTE band 5 in only one small city (Myrtle Beach, SC) and none of the other LTE bands anywhere. If you have a different version of that phone, the answer is different.
Hey shroff! Congratulations on your upcoming trip! I'm glad you're checking prior to travel. Your best bet is to check the specs for your specific device model against the Supported T-Mobile networks. It may also depend on where you're traveling, as not all bands are active in all areas. Where in the US will you be located? Are you planning to bring the phone unlocked and use the Tourist Plan?
