Hey there maximinot, Some good news for ya!!!! There is a way that you can tell what number you are getting an incoming call from. Lets make sure that you have your settings correct in the app on your phone. Here is a link for the app and the web client if you don't already have it. Let me know if this works for you!!
Android & iOS
- In the DIGITS app, tap Settings > Line Settings.
- Tap the desired DIGITS to view and edit the following settings:
- Line name
- Icon color
- e911 address
- Voicemail greeting
Not sure if Apple is different from Android, but I cannot tell where the call is coming from, and I have set the settings mentioned above.
tmo_kendra, I have a bunch of images. Would you like me to add them here, or start another thread specific to Android?
Add them here please. I will let you know what the next step is ... thank you
(Please excuse the size of the images. I wanted them to be easy to read.)
On my Galaxy Tab E, I have gone to the settings for the various lines and set the icon, etc. For example, for my primary line I have set the icon to be a blue head.
When a call comes in, here is what I see:
Note that I can see who is calling, but there is no indication what line is being called. (Unless the white phone on a grey background is suppose to be the icon, in which case it is wrong. It is supposed to be the blue head.)
Out of interest, on my S7 things are a little different. If I am at the home screen, the incoming call takes the full screen:
Note that near the top right corner I can see both the blue head icon, and the phone number that is being called.
If I am not at the home screen, I just get a little banner:
Note that it has the blue head icon (but not the phone number)
Seems to be working now. When I get a call on DIGITS it now says "Calling
to " which displays the name of my DIGITS phone. Wasn't
doing that yesterday. Thanks!
