Because that's the version that T-Mobile contracted with HTC to develop. I can almost guarantee you that 7.1 did not exist when the contract was executed.
Yes.... I can understand that. It's just too bad that it takes so long to get updates. 1st the manufacturer gets it after its released then t-mobile has to approve it if we get it for our phone...
Hey vt_inka. I hear you, and I think e2k is probably spot-on here (as per usual). It sounds like you already have a solid grasp of why this happened - your last comment is totally in line with the explanation we offer in our Software update development FAQs. Knowing why this takes a while to happen doesn't make your frustration any less valid, though.
