Device switching and number transfer issues

    To T-Mobile DIGITS Support Team: I've been spending some time today testing the ability to switch ongoing calls to my other devices as well as transferring calls to other phone numbers. Overall, I find both capabilities inconsistent. There are times when switching devices or transferring calls work relatively well. But other times where they don't.

     

    When the services don't work, the behavior I'm seeing is that the call is dropped from the originating device (iPhone, iPad or Chrome browser) as though the call actually had been transferred but it never is. The end result is that the call is lost. Failures seem more consistent in the Chrome browser than they do on either iOS device. Based on what I'm seeing, it may not be an actual switch or transfer failure but perhaps a timing issue. I cannot pin things down to a pattern at this point.

     

    Other information you may need:

    1. DIGITS app version on iPhone and iPad - 4.0.2
    2. MacBook Air running macOS Sierra 10.12.2
    3. Chrome browser version 55.0.2883.95 (64-bit)
    4. Calls made today, Dec 28 between 1:00PM and 2:15PM EST
